About Us

Zanzibar Outreach Program was founded in Zanzibar in 2006 by a group of Zanzibaris wanting to help provide community services for their fellow islanders in Unguja and Pemba. Today we are one of the most respected Non Governmental Organisations on the island due to our ongoing and lasting commitment to that cause. ZOP, which relies on private local donations and collaborations with other NGO’s both in Tanzania and overseas, is dedicated to improving the community’s access to health care, clean water and education.
